CIDRA Rome 2027 – 2nd Stakeholders Meeting: “EU–Africa: From Dialogue to Enhanced Cooperation”

Department of Political Science, Roma Tre University, Via G. Chiabrera 199, 00145 Rome
13–14 January 2027

The CIDRA network will hold its 2nd Stakeholders Meeting in Rome on 13 and 14 January 2027, hosted by the Department of Political Science at Roma Tre University. Under the title “EU–Africa: From Dialogue to Enhanced Cooperation”, the meeting brings together academics, policymakers, diplomats and representatives of business and civil society. Its purpose is to discuss how the relationship between Europe and Africa can move beyond dialogue towards concrete forms of cooperation.

The meeting reflects one of CIDRA’s core aims: to connect academic research with the institutions, companies and organisations that shape EU–Africa relations in practice. It builds on the network’s previous activities, including its conferences, roundtables and research on regional integration in both continents.
