Members of the CIDRA project team participated in the first Artificial Intelligence Conference organized by the Practical Artificial Intelligence Development Foundation, held from 3rd to 4th December 2025. The conference convened researchers, academics, practitioners, and stakeholders to deliberate on advancements, applications, and responsible development of artificial intelligence.
The CIDRA team was represented by Dr. Alhassan Adamu and Prof. Salisu Mamman Abdulrahman. During the conference, the team actively engaged participants by introducing the CIDRA project, outlining its objectives, and discussing its role in strengthening dialogue, research collaboration, and advocacy between Europe and Africa. These engagements helped to raise awareness of the project among a diverse audience of AI researchers and professionals.
In addition to project outreach, the CIDRA representatives presented scholarly articles aligned with the project’s thematic focus. The presentations contributed to academic discourse on artificial intelligence and provided an avenue for knowledge exchange, peer feedback, and networking with experts in related fields.
